Nobody expects the random Hornblower reference!!

Last night I was watching my shiny new Python Complete Series 2 DVD, when it clicked onto an episode I'd never seen before: No. 11, How Not To Be Seen. UK Gold didn't broadcast it years ago when I originally taped them all, probably because of all the piss-taking about religion in it, but that's not important. 

During a sketch about a film director with enormous buck teeth, they showed a clip from what was meant to be one of his films: The Death of Nelson (complete with leading actors sporting enormous buck teeth). Imagine my surprise when Graham Chapman (Nelson) suddenly called Terry Jones "Mr Bush"! 

I know I shouldn't be surprised by that, as I'm sure that, like other guys of their generation, the Pythons would have read the Hornblower books and no doubt seen the Gregory Peck film, but still, it was something I certainly didn't expect! :)
