Wow - I'm with the others! This is an excellent fill-in-the-gap, full of very nice ideas (the "for the first time" in that last sentence is actually a very good reflection of Charley's character - she jumps right into the middle of things without much reflection, much like the Doctor, and only now does she start to regret it). An angry Eighth Doctor is a scary thing indeed.
I think I might just have to friend you, if that's all right - quite apart from your awesome fics, I see we have a lot of bolded interests in common! :D
