I'm trying not to make the Who elements too important, but enough to give an added dimension if you do know the series. There's a synopsis of the DW story I'm taking most of the stuff from here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pyramids_of_Mars). It'll probably help with the next couple of chapters, which is when that stuff really comes into it.
The next fic I have in mind will be a straight Holmesian pastiche, promise! :)
