I've been wondering whether to start a fiction journal, so that (providing the muse sticks around!) those who aren't interested won't get their flist spammed by my fic.
I don't really write enough fic to justify having my own fic journal (although I do have a separate journal for Sharpe stuff, because I set that up when I started to RP as him for pwn_britannia. I don't mind either way, but I do like reading fics, so I'll probably friend any fic journal you do set up.
I have a pretty big back catalogue of fic, and as I don't have time to update my website any more I was thinking that it might be nice to be able to archive them all together.
I did it... mainly because of the once in a while NC-17 fic I'd write. I know there are some on my flist who are and som who aren't interested in that... or any of my fic for that matter because my Rated G stuff tends to be extremely sappy, so I created dukesfreers. It also keeps some of the fic people (like from crack_van separate from my personal stuff.
I'm still dithering over it. I think I'll wait and see if I do manage to keep up the writing until I decide - there's no point starting something and then not updating it for a year! :)
