Nick Courtney spoke to Radio Times about playing the Brig.

Wish someone would tell them that UNIT and TARDIS are both acronyms!

Agreed. (First time I've seen an HH version. It's a viral phrase!)

And even though it's an acronym, Radio Times has been slow to capitalize TARDIS ever since 1963. It took a while to settle down as all-caps even in the Target novels. *laments loss of Radio Times' Cult section after 1997*

UNIT is less forgivable. That *was* always in capital letters.

I'd forgotten about the RT Cult section. I still have all the Russell/Sullivan Eighth Doctor comic strips somewhere. :)

I'm so used to seeing TARDIS capitalised as it should be that it irks me whenever I see it written in lower case. Time Lord as one word bugs the hell out of me too.

I recently read an article--possibly the one about Moffat's ascension--that talked about the Baftas. I think such examples are why I've always suspected it was a UK preference rather than a mistake, but it's hard to say...and strikes me as odd regardless.
